What is still life photography

Still-life photography has become an epidemic. As a quick scroll through Tumblr will tell you, any 13-year-old with a camera flash can throw some pineapples onto a brightly-colored backdrop and call it art. Still life is taking inanimate objects usually planned and placed accordingly to the photographers liking.

Re-creation of famous photographer assignment

Here is one photo i want to recreate. To do this i will handpick a window turn off all lights use natural light. For this i will photograph my uncle in the same manner as Yousuf Karsh. I will shoot in B&W film.
